YouTube Yoga has been one of the things that has really kept us active & sane during Lockdown. The amount of health benefits that doing Yoga regularly brings you is insane. We’re noticing huge improvements in our physical & mental health day by day just from taking part. The best part of YouTube Yoga is, you can do it all from the comfort of your own home, for FREE!
Namaste & welcome back to another one of our posts! As Travel is slow at the moment with the U.K. being in Lockdown 2.0, we’re focusing more on Lifestyle and Wellness. If you enjoy our content and would like to see more from us, give us a follow on our socials below:
So we’re going to break down this list into Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Levels. Let’s kick it off! *NOTE* None of the videos or channels below belong to us. We are simply shouting out our favourite Yoga Instructors that we’ve found inspiring. All content belongs to the creators below.
Yoga With Adriene – YouTube Yoga for Beginners
Yoga With Adriene is where our Yoga journey started and we recommend her sessions for any newcomer. She’s an incredible Yoga Instructor who really takes you through the motions for all levels. We find that her Beginner content is the most engaging on YouTube and can really help you grasp the basics of Yoga easily. To top it all off, she has a lovely dog called Benji who just makes our hearts happy! We’ve picked the below video as it’s the first ever YouTube Yoga video we did together.
Please go and check her out if you’re looking for ways to improve your physical and mental health in Lockdown!
Yoga Dose – Yoga for Intermediate Levels
Something that we love about this channel is that it features a bunch of different Yogi’s who take you through classes. You’ll find their classes challenging at Beginner levels but not impossible. The strongest feature of their channel is definitely the 30 Day Challenge series (in our opinion). We took part and struggled initially maintaining the postures, particularly the leg holds but found ourselves growing more & more comfortable each day. Yoga With Tim features on the channel a lot & he has the most soothing voice and flow. The video below is the start of the 30 Day Challenge:
If you’re looking for something to keep you busy during lockdown (for all our U.K. friends), look no further! This will challenge you to take part for 30 days and we’re sure you’ll see big results!
Breathe and Flow – Advanced YouTube Yoga
This is where it starts to get real tough! If you didn’t think you could break a serious sweat doing Yoga, this’ll change that! Breathe and Flow are a wonderful couple who also both happen to be Yogis. Their videos are very intense, so be warned! We’ve both had the shakes come on in these classes almost straight away, they’re that challenging. One particular series that stands out for us is the Yoga for Men series, focusing on strengthening your body and core. You’ll feel really accomplished as you build up your strength and can actually finish the entire video haha! We’ve linked episode one of Yoga for Men below as it’s a great place to start with Breathe & Flow!
They’re a lovely couple who devote a ton of time to their practices. We’d also be lying if we said we didn’t have total body envy!
So that wraps up this post on the best YouTube Yoga stars! We hope you’ve found it useful and manage to try some of their videos out. If you’ve never done Yoga before, seriously give it a go! It’s one of the best ways to de-clutter your mind, improve your posture and learn better breathing techniques.

Being positive during a lockdown can be challenging. Trust us, we’re going through our second one. We sometimes sit there and discuss ‘what if’ situations all the time.
